Lionheart Fitness and Performance is currently offering Community Fitness Classes in conjunction with some area churches - St. Ambrose Catholic Church on The Hill, Gethsemane Lutheran Church in South St. Louis City, and the Cathedral Basilica in the Central West End. The classes are ongoing and typically meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. All classes are open to the public, not just church members. CLASSES: (subject to change and availability)
Adult Circuit Training Class (Ages 19 and up) An overall body workout, consisting of stations for upper body , leg and abdominal strengthening, as well as aerobic exercise for overall fitness.
Senior Circuit Training Class Age appropriate; Overall body workout, consisting of stations for upper body , leg and abdominal strengthening, as well as aerobic exercise for overall fitness.
Adult Cardio Class (Ages 19 and up) A beginners aerobic workout to promote cardiovascular health. This workout increases energy, stamina, better health and happiness.
Senior Cardio Class Age appropriate; Workout consisting of simple movements set to music. These exercises are designed to stimulate circulation, increase flexibility and promotes stamina and energy.
Pilates Class Focuses on core strength and flexibility. Simple movements use body resistance rather than weights.
Tai Chi Great for fitness beginners of any age. Using movements that promote balance, flexibility and strength, this class is an excellent stress and tension reducer.
Cardio Kickboxing: Based on the principles of martial arts, this non-contact fitness class provides a great aerobic workout.

Cost is $5.00/per class, 3 classes/week, for 8 weeks. Family discounts are available.
